DHS SHUTDOWN SLAMS CALIFORNIA FLIERS
LOS ANGELES, CA —The ongoing Department of Homeland Security (DHS) shutdown has forced TSA agents to work without pay, leading to staffing shortages and major airport delays that have rippled across the country, including in California’s busiest travel hubs.
“This shutdown is a direct result of Donald Trump and extreme Republicans playing politics with people’s livelihoods, and Californians are paying the price. We should be focused on making life more affordable, not creating chaos that hurts working families. That means standing up to Trump’s dysfunction, ending these reckless shutdowns, and putting stability and economic relief first.”
