LOS ANGELES, CA —Today, Antonio Villaraigosa released the following statement regarding President Donald Trump’s endorsement of Steve Hilton for Governor of California.

“I congratulate Steve Hilton on Donald Trump’s endorsement — now voters can see the biggest reason why Hilton should not be elected Governor of California. Trump’s reckless policies are tanking our economy, making our communities less safe, and driving up gas prices and the cost of living for all Californians so voters need to know that Trump wants his hand-picked candidate Steve Hilton to be governor which is the last thing we need in California.”
