LOS ANGELES, CA —Today, President Donald Trump signed an executive order directing the federal government and the US Postal Service to take control of mail-in voting, bypassing state election procedures.

“Donald Trump is weaponizing the federal government to hijack our elections and undermine the right of states to run their own voting. This executive order isn’t about integrity. It’s about politics, intimidation, and attacking working Americans who rely on fair, accessible elections. California and every state will fight back,” said Antonio Villaraigosa.
