Ad Part of $2.1 Million Media Buy, Airing Across California; Highlights Villaraigosa’s ICE Accountability Plan

LOS ANGELES, CA —Today, the campaign for Antonio Villaraigosa announced the launch of a new statewide television ad, “Any of Us,” which highlights the chaos caused by Donald Trump, the aggressive and violent tactics taken by ICE, and reaffirms Antonio’s plan to stop ICE and his commitment to standing up for California communities.

The new spot will begin airing statewide today as part of Antonio’s $2.1 million ad buy across major media markets.

The ad opens with footage of Senator Alex Padilla being forcibly slammed to the ground by federal agents during a Homeland Security press conference with Secretary Kristi Noem. Antonio was among the first to condemn the incident.

Immediately after seeing the video, Antonio recorded and released a statement from his car, speaking directly to Californians. The video quickly gained traction, generating more than 373,000 views across platforms and raising public awareness.

“Any of Us” comes one week after Antonio unveiled his ICE reform plan (available at Antonio2026.com/ICE ), outlining policies he would implement on day one.

“Let me be clear: the way Trump’s ICE thugs are terrorizing our communities is unacceptable. These military-style immigration “operations” have generated fear and division throughout our communities. That’s not who we are. We must protect our communities and enforce the law while upholding our values,” said Antonio.
