VILLARAIGOSA EARNS ENDORSEMENT FROM CA-NV CONFERENCE OF OPERATING ENGINEERS

LOS ANGELES – Antonio Villaraigosa, Former Speaker of the California Assembly and 41st Mayor of Los Angeles, has received the first statewide union endorsement of the election cycle in the Governor’s race from the California-Nevada Conference of Operating Engineers, which includes International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE) Locals 12, 39 and 501.
“From his work as Speaker of the California State Assembly, as Mayor who led the state’s biggest city out of the Great Recession, and as the state’s Infrastructure Advisor creating the blueprint to expedite unprecedented infrastructure funding, our research clearly shows that Antonio Villaraigosa is the proven problem solver working families need as California’s next Governor,” said Matt Cremins, Director of the California-Nevada Conference of Operating Engineers.
